For some reason, even though you’ve taken steps forward you’re having a hard time staying in focus and making substantial progress. There are times when you feel scared, not sure where to begin, and feel that having the life you want is for others, but not for you.
Here’s what I used to do and why am I the person to help you on your journey? I have always been a “do it yourself” person, but found I prefer to learn from people ( my mentors) who have had life experiences and challenges, who have discovered that their unique talents and gifts set them apart from the crowd, and know how to combine their talents with the confidence to create prosperity. To me if feels more authentic. So, I’ll share a little bit about my journey. ( I know you may be asking “why”, but it’s important background for the info I’m going to share with you next.)
I believe we all have gifts and wisdom to share. Much if this comes from life experience, the lessons we have learned and the choices we make about moving forward. In 7th/8th grade I read Dales Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People, I was hooked! I was always a unique person and maybe a bit ahead of my time, but at that point I knew I wanted to help people feel good about themselves. I’ve had my share of successes and challenges, wondered what the hell I was doing, and where I was going. Our vulnerabilities make us human, more approachable, enables us to feel connections with others and allows us to be of better service to clients. These events make us who we are today.
We come to a point at which we say, “OK, I get it, I’m ready to step out of the box – get out of my own way – and be the person I am meant to be.” There is a turning point, the time when we spiral up into our soul-purpose. I knew I was here to help people feel good and make a difference in the world.
I learned to live my life on purpose. I learned that all we do is based on our choices. We can choose to stay down and make excuses or we can choose to have the life of our dreams and live our brilliant lives with passion and purpose. I found out that I had some very powerful lessons to teach and pass along to those of you who could use them.
